Some call them joint business plans, here at Otters we call them Mutual Action Plans (MAP). Simply because we are not here to just help you plan a joint business venture, but the success of your partnerships. MAPs are strategic roadmaps that outlines goals, objectives and activities required to foster strong and successful partnerships.

Otters allows you to import partners, lead and revenue data from HubSpot.

Once you initiate a sync with HubSpot, Otters will create a PSP for each partner you selected in the import window. It will then notify and/or invite the account owner that is specified in HubSpot that they can now utilise their PSP in Otters to collaborate with their partner.

Prerequisites:

• A partner's company record has to have the property "Type" set to "Partner"
• Deals associate with a partner for revenue and lead tracking have to have the partner listed as the associated company

To integrate Otters and HubSpot follow these steps. If you are your company's HubSpot administrator, great, follow the steps below. If not, get in touch with them and ask them to follow the steps below.

1. In HubSpot go to Settings > Integrations > Private Apps
2. Select Create a private app
3. On the Basic Info screen enter the following:
   • Name - "Otters"
   • Description - "Create, manage, execute and measure Partner Success Plans for your partner ecosystem"
4. On the Scopes screen expand CRM and Settings and select the following:
   • crm.objects.companies - Read and Write
   • crm.objects.contacts - Read and Write
   • crm.objects.custom- Read and Write
   • crm.objects.deals- Read
   • crm.objects.owners - Read
   • settings.users - Read
5. Click on Create app and confirm by selecting Continue creating
6. HubSpot will now show you a confirmation screen with a token. Write it down or copy it into Notes or similar. You will need this later. If you are not the admin, ask the admin to provide you the key or give them access to Otters to copy and paste the key themselves following the steps below.
7. In Otters click on the cogwheel on the left
8. Navigate to Settings and select Sync with HubSpot
9. Copy the HubSpot token into the HubSpot API key field and select Sync with HubSpot

You can downgrade your plan at the end of your commitment period. Upgrading is possible at any point in time to ensure your ecosystem is successful and growing.
